To accept payments with BankAxept, you need to buy or rent a payment terminal. We have agreements with several payment terminal providers. Many banks also offer tailored agreements for you as a customer. When you make an agreement with a terminal provider, remember to request BankAxept as the preferred payment method—this way, you get the fastest settlement at the lowest price.
An acquiring agreement is an agreement that enables you to accept payments via a terminal and receive the settlement into your account. The acquiring agreement is a contract between you and your bank. The terminal provider can assist you in ordering this agreement through your banking relationship.
Once you have the payment terminal and acquiring agreement in place, you will receive an email from BankAxept containing a link to accept the agreement terms. The terms are accepted using BankID. Then you are ready to start accepting payments with BankAxept on your terminal.
